Why do I need a maintenance & security plan?
We take care of your WordPress maintenance & security tasks, so you can focus on what you’re good at.

Do you offer web hosting + maintenance?
Yes we do, we can host your website(s) on Kinsta along with our Maintenance & Security Services, please purchase the “Hosted” plan we will take care of everything.
However we recommend signing up yourself at Kinsta as we host our website with them because they are reliable, fast secure and it is based on Google Cloud Platform. Most clients appreciate to be independent and have their own hosting account just connect your account at Kinsta with ours by giving us an administrator role so we can administer & configure your website settings.
Is email included with your web hosting?
No. Our focus is WordPress so we have deliberately stayed out of services that extend beyond WordPress (e.g. email accounts). That said, we host our email with G Suite and absolutely love it.
Are there any set up or cancellation fees?
There are no setup costs and should you ever need to leave the plan, there are no cancellation fees. And the door is always open should you ever leave and decide to come back to the plan.
Does signing up lock me into a contract?
No. You are free to discontinue our WordPress maintenance & security services at any time, although we have no idea why anyone would want to do that.
What is different about the Starter plan?
This plan contains a stand alone Web Application Firewall “NinjaFirewall” (WP+ Edition) that uses your server resources in contrast to a cloud-based Firewall. Some features like “DDoS Mitigation” are not available. In case your site gets hacked or infected there will apply an incident response, malware removal and hack recovery fee of € 149,-. But don’t worry, we’ve had zero hacks and breaches with any sites on this plan.
How does onboarding work?
Once you sign up for our website maintenance & security plan, you’ll receive a welcome email with information on your plan and details about how to securely send us your login credentials. Once you send login information for your WordPress dashboard and hosting provider, we’ll have your plan fully implemented in 24-48 hours.
Do you work with wordpress.com sites?
Because of the limitations of WordPress.com, we’re only able to work with (self-hosted) WordPress.org websites.
What if I have multiple (2+) sites that need a maintenance plan?
Our Maintenance & security plans each cover one single site. If you have multiple sites as subdomains of a site they still count as separate sites. If you have 3 websites that you’d like us to manage, you’ll need 3 plans, one for each site. You are more than welcome to choose different plans for each website.
What if my site gets hacked while on the plan?
If your site gets compromised or infected while you’re on the “Professional” or “Hosted” maintenance & security plan, we will fix your hacked website and clean it up for free. However if you are on the “Economy” plan a malware removal and hack recovery fee of € 149,- will apply. But don’t worry, we’ve had zero hacks and breaches with any sites on our maintenance plan.
If my site has malware before I sign up is malware removal included?
If your website has malware before signing up, it’s removal is not covered under your agreement. In that case, we recommend a service like Sucuri Malware Removal, which has an excellent support team and a track record of getting the job done.
What does “website edits or updates” actually mean?
Website edits or updates are things like edits to content, adding plugins or changing plugin settings, small tweaks to your site such as updating colors or fonts and CSS adjustments.
They do not included custom development (PHP, plugins, themes, etc), updating custom code, graphic design, building out a new website or subdomain.
What if I have website edits or updates that require more hours?
We will always try to get your updates done within the hours included in your plan to save you some extra cost but if you have a decent amount of updates that will require more hours, we’ll give you an estimate of time and do that at our hourly rate.
Does my monthly website edits or update time roll over?
The retainer of hourly website edits or updates included in your plan is just covered for that month.
How fast do you get to the monthly updates?
We try to get to updates within 24-48 hrs. As a monthly client, you always get top priority compared to clients who aren’t on the plan.
What if I need custom development or tasks?
We got you covered and we can take care of all your WordPress tasks, we work with freelancers and experts from all over the world. We manage a hourly rate and can make estimates for your custom task on request.

Do you offer phone support?
We’ve set up our pricing structure to stay pretty lean and with our global team, it just makes more sense to handle all our support through email and livechat. While we don’t offer phone support, we’ve made customer service a huge priority and you’ll find both our email and livechat support fast, effective and friendly!

Our main payment processor is Paypal and allows you to pay with any credit card.
